the three c’s is owned and operated by Cory Jubitz.

Cory grew up in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in foreign (Romance) languages in 1996.

She jumped into editing as an intern at the Denver alt-weekly Westword and was hired as the newspaper’s assistant copy editor. Cory later moved to Aspen, where she worked as a copy and wire editor at the Aspen Daily News and as the proofreader for Climbing and Paddler magazines.

Cory returned to Oregon in 2004 to take a news-editor position at The (Bend) Bulletin. In late 2005, she founded the three c’s and now freelances full time. She regularly proofreads and edits copy for consumer magazines, high-traffic websites, ad agencies, and a unit of the United Nations Environment Programme.
